Nit Eliminator Comb

The Nit Eliminator Comb is a professional quality comb our lice removal technicians use in clinic. Lice eggs cannot be flicked off the hair or brushed out with regular combs. The Nit Eliminator Comb is specially engineered with spiral micro grooved teeth to remove lice and their eggs (nits) from the hair.

Cleaning recommendation:

Remove all hair caught in the teeth. Wet a toothbrush or similar sized brush and add dish soap for lather. Scrub brush to free any lice, nits or debris of any kind. Submerge the comb in a minimum of 140-degree water for 10 minutes.

Check the comb by holding it up against the light to confirm it is all clear. If you see anything stuck slide a piece of dental floss between the teeth until clear. This is a very important step before reusing the comb. Failure to do so could create confusion and lead to a misdiagnosis when leftover nits are found and believed to be a new infestation.
